Branch News :
Sadly, I have found that once again, the game of EQ seems to stall for me at the 40th level. I know I could easily power level through into the high 40's and beyond, but after 2 years of playing this game, I just do not see the point in spending endless hours camping spawns to level, while 99% of the rest of the game is inaccessable to me unless I am in a full group and can commit several hours at a sitting.
Because the game just isn't much fun to me any more and also because I am taking a job in another city that will use up much more of my time, I am closing the branch down on Morell-Thule.
Maybe, in a few months, I will feel the desire to play again, but for now, I really want to move onto other interests and hobbies. EQ got over 2 years of my time, now it's time for something else.

Welcome to the newest branch of the Seekers of Lore!
After several months of not playing him, I had a change of heart, and MadWand has been reborn to live again on the new world of Morell-Thule. With the beta testing and release of Sovereign pushed back, I found myself without a good online game to play, so I decided to make one last run at EQ.
This new server will have my full support, and I have already drafted up a Charter to help in the growth of this branch. We are just starting out here so any prospective applicants should not come expecting to join a 30 member plane raid tomorrow *gin*. In fact, yours truly has only reached level 11 so far!
I can promise though, that the emphasis on new members for this server will be on quality not quantity. We are only looking for that special player who will be an integral part of the guild here, not someone who is just looking for an easy ride in the game. To that goal, the Charter I have drafted may seem a lot more restrictive then ones for other guilds. I have also drawn up an equally strict set of rules that I and my Officers will have to follow.
So, if anyone viewing this now thinks they might like to join such a guild, feel free to look me or one of my Officers up and play with us a while. Please do not email me asking to join, as that is not how we take applications. Read the Charter for exact details on how we will accept and process applications.
